I’m djing my great-uncle’s Memorial Day weekend barbecue. I have Summer Heart, Work Drugs, and Toro Y Moi on a loop. His house is one of the coolest pads in the Mish. My summer has officially commenced.
Good music, going out to eat, being lazy with my friends, family bonding, long car rides, shopping, sleeping, not wearing pants, knitting, chai, camping, picnics, concerts, tanning, sushi, dreaming, receiving flowers, discovering beautiful buildings, going on walks, being able to completely express my feelings, long phone calls, chocolate, baking, and being with my FAVORITE PERSON, Rachel :)
OF COURSE I WOULD! It would be super fun! :)

It’s extremely difficult to force yourself to want something that you secretly detest. Knowing you’re not going to get what you want, no matter how hard you bare the tough stuff, is the most difficult thing to accept. You’re unhappy, but keep your chin up for summer. Fake that smile, because you know they all believe you.
